
8000 Tesco workers to take grocer to court over claims women are paid less than men

"Thousands of Tesco workers have launched a multi-million-pound claim against the grocer over allegations that women have been underpaid.
The Tesco Action Group have launched a campaign against the supermarket over allegations it's breached equal pay rules - by paying female staff less than their male counterparts.
The group - which comprises of both current and ex workers - said that Tesco breached its duty under section 66 of the Equality Act 2010."
