It was revealed last week that an equal pay claim has been launched against Co-op. This is the latest in a number of supermarket equal pay claims, of which the claim against Tesco is one. The article explains that as with the other supermarket claims, the claim is on behalf of store workers who are paid less than distribution centre staff.

The article goes on to mention our claim against Tesco:

"Hundreds of thousands of Tesco workers could also be owed money as a result of a similar dispute, one law firm has claimed.

The Tesco Action Group, which is fighting a multi-million-pound pay claim against the supermarket on behalf of workers, said it estimates that as many as 25,000 [sic] staff members could be owed a slice of £2.5 billion in b

ack pay."
