Supermarkets face a £10billion 'equal pay' bill as thousands of staff at Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Morrisons launch claims they are paid less than colleagues doing the same job

"Britain's biggest supermarket chains face a potential bill of up to £10 billion if an avalanche of equal pay claims are upheld.

They currently have more than 8,000 employees signed up to claim."
